Bonnie Beall
After a long career as a professional musician, Bonnie became interested in the creative arts. She studied drawing with Royce Kugler of Beaverton and watercolor painting from Linda Paton. She has taken workshops in watercolor from Nita Engle, Ellie Cook, Jeanne Dobie, Dory Kanter, Jan Kuntz, and Judy Morris. She studied drawing in graphite and colored pencils with Lee Hammond. Bonnie has been fortunate to be able to travel extensively and has a large file of photos for painting. She has also painted on site at many locations. She especially loves to paint landscapes and flowers.
Bonnie is a member of the Village Gallery of Art in Cedar Mill, Main Street Art Society in Hillsboro and Local Colour, a Forest Group who meet to paint together every week. She has had many opportunities to paint on site, participate in demos in schools, show her work, and paint together with other artists. |
