Artist Submission Information
Criteria
- Good presentation and attention to craftsmanship
- Ability to produce an end product which displays quality craftsmanship
- Strong drawing and imaging skills
- Well developed visual concepts
- Knowledgeable application of visual design principles
- Imaginativeness in use of materials
- In line with Red Cross values and guiding principles
- The goal of the gallery is to create a welcoming, relaxing environment for blood and chapter staff and volunteers and those that they serve. The Red Cross places emphasis on respect for the individual and values diversity.

Submission
- Portfolio / Statement of work
- Examples of Work, in one of the following forms:
- Slides
- Photos
- Discs (electronic portfolio)
Review
- One review by standing member and rotating committee member
- Artist Packet
- Final acceptance may be subject to Senior Management approval
Responsibilities
- The Beautification Committee will be responsible to maintain the records generated by artist submissions process.
- The selected committee member for each approved artist will be responsible for providing the artist packet, becoming the artist contact person and making all arrangements necessary for the artist presentation.
- The Communications and Marketing Department will be responsible for providing communication concerning the artist presentation as necessary when requested by the selected committee member.
- The submitting artist is responsible to submit the requested information in the artist agreement to the review committee and be responsible to work with the assigned committee member to set-up and take down the artist presentation.
