The Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region provides customers with a wide range of services and resources in addition to the collection of blood products.
Transfer of Blood Products – If we request that a hospital transfer blood to another hospital (that would normally be returned), the Red Cross will arrange transportation of the blood as a convenience to the hospital. You may also transfer blood between facilities and will not be charged a restocking fee.
Inventory Management –Inventory specialists are available for consultation on developing hospital minimum and maximum inventory levels.

Autologous/Directed Donation - Available in selected areas on the orders of a prescribing doctor. In some cases, special handling fees may apply to directed and autologous donations.
